Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator for a contract role with our globally, brand-recognized client. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge network technologies and contribute to the efficient operation of our critical infrastructure.

*Start Date: 07/29/2024
*Duration: 5 months
*Location: Kennesaw, GA. Hybrid – 3 days onsite
*Pay Rate Range: $50-$60/hr W2. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
*Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate, and resolve common network access and performance issues.
*Configure and support IPSEC VPN tunnels for remote site connectivity.
*Maintain and expand the existing network environment, including activating and configuring interfaces, cable patching, and integrating new hardware.
*Monitor, manage, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls.
*Manage and support multi-site campus Wi-Fi based on HPE Aruba & ClearPass.
*Monitor WAN and LAN network performance, capacity, and outages.
*Collaborate closely with the Service Desk and Server teams.
*Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Work well with others and interact effectively with staff at all levels.
*Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for equipment maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:
*Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
*Demonstrated knowledge of network technologies through achievement of Cisco CCNP, CCNA, Palo Alto PCNSE, PCNSA, and/or other related professional certifications.
*Proven experience as a Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama Administrator.
*Proven experience as a Cisco Network Administrator managing common Cisco Network Switches and Routers.
*Proven experience with HPE Aruba Enterprise Campus Wi-Fi.
*Experience with one or more Enterprise network monitoring technologies (SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, ManageEngine OpMonitor).
