Job Description
Launch your career to new heights as a Technical Architect for an innovative company in Orange County, CA.
The Procurement Solution Architect plays a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and integrated procurement solutions, with a strong focus on seamless integration with the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role is responsible for understanding business requirements within the procurement domain, translating them into technical specifications, and architecting solutions that optimize procurement processes, improve efficiency, and ensure data accuracy. The Architect will work closely with procurement stakeholders, ERP teams, development teams, and vendors to deliver a high-quality, integrated solution.

* Pay Rate Range: Starting at $70/hr and up, Depending On Experience
Responsibilities:
• Procurement Solution Design & Architecture:
o Evaluate and recommend procurement technologies and solutions based on business needs and architectural fit.
o Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap for procurement systems, aligning with the overall IT and business strategy.
o Lead the architecture and design of integration points between procurement systems and the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365), ensuring data consistency and process synchronization.
o Define and document solution architecture, including data flows, system interfaces, automations and security considerations.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
o Work closely with procurement business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
o Communicate solution architecture and design decisions to relevant stakeholders.
o Conduct workshops and presentations to educate stakeholders on procurement system capabilities and integration strategies.
• Solution Implementation & Support:
o Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation and testing of procurement solutions.
o Ensure that procurement solution complies with security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
o Participate in the testing and deployment of procurement solutions.
o Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT, including procurement systems and ERP integration.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Proven experience designing and implementing procurement solutions, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Experience with integration technologies and methodologies (e.g., APIs, web services, middleware, cloud integration).
• Proficiency in data mapping, transformation, and data quality techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with cloud-based procurement solutions (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Medius, Amazon Business Solutions, Jaggaer, etc).
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
