Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst / Jr. Project Manager for an initial 6-month W2 contract position with long-term potential. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating a variety of solution delivery projects to support our prestigious client’s commercial real estate management business. BA/PM should be technology savvy, particularly with business and office applications. This role will work closely with IT leadership to plan and execute a variety of technology projects and will help build trust and credibility between IT and the various business units.
Start Date: January 6, 2025
Duration: 6-month W2 Contract with option to extend or potentially to hire.
Location: Costa Mesa, CA. Hybrid onsite/remote
Compensation: Starting at $35/hr W2 or higher depending on overall skills and experience – The offered rate to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, location, education, etc.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree
· 2-3 years as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Jr. Project Manager in a technology department.
· Experience with Microsoft Office projects such as Office 365, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
· Demonstrated experience with applications and passion for learning new technologies
· Demonstrated experience with technology, process and workflow documentation
· Experience with document management processes/systems
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements, and develop implementation plans
· Ask great questions to drive out and document the ‘as-is’ state of technology and workflow processes across the organization.
· Ensure project requirements are met through meticulous planning and execution
· Assist in managing project timelines, resources, deliverables, and budgets
· Work closely with the IT Director to plan and execute projects efficiently
· Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams
Preferred Experience
· SharePoint implementation/administration project a big plus
· Help with training and self-help guides for end users.
